My first film!

Made while I was studying animation at the University of Creative Arts Farnham. The poem was written in collaboration with Julie Lindh and tackles growing older and change. I always loved playing in the ocean, the game being that you had to hit the white of the wave before it reached the beach. Of course hitting it does nothing to the wave itself but make it splash, I found the concept really appealing. The film was created in two main techniques combined by having prints of footage below. I used Guache paint and sand.
